Abstract

The decline in students' learning motivation poses a serious challenge in the field of education, marked by low participation, poor academic performance, and increased digital distractions. This study aims to explore the implementation of the Mau’idzah Hasanah counseling technique as an Islamic approach capable of reigniting students' enthusiasm for learning through emotional and spiritual engagement. Employing a qualitative method with a grounded theory approach, this research not only describes the existing reality but also constructs new conceptual understandings. The findings reveal that the Mau’idzah Hasanah counseling technique is an effective approach to enhancing students’ learning motivation through empathetic relationships, heartfelt advice, positive reinforcement, and self-reflection. Grounded in Qur’anic values and supported by continuous guidance, this technique fosters intrinsic motivation and encourages meaningful, character-based learning changes that harmonize academic achievement with spiritual development.
