About the Journal
JOURNAL SEKAWAN: Science, Education, and Knowledge Application in Worldwide Academic Networks is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes high-quality research in "education and educational sciences". The journal serves as an international forum for scholars, researchers, teacher educators, practitioners, and policy stakeholders to exchange and disseminate theoretical, empirical, and practice-oriented contributions that advance educational thought, improve teaching and learning, and inform educational policy and innovation across diverse contexts.
The journal welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, theoretical papers, and rigorous practice-based studies that address (but are not limited to) the following major areas in education and educational sciences:
- Teaching and Learning (pedagogy, learning theories, classroom practices, learner engagement);
- Curriculum Studies and Instructional Design (curriculum development, assessment design, learning outcomes);
- Educational Assessment, Measurement, and Evaluation (test development, evaluation studies, quality assurance);
- Educational Psychology and Human Development (motivation, cognition, socio-emotional learning, developmental studies);
- Educational Technology and Digital Learning (e-learning, blended learning, AI in education, learning analytics);
- STEM/STEAM and Science Education (teacher practices, inquiry learning, lab-based and project-based learning);
- Teacher Education and Professional Development (pre-service/in-service training, reflective practice, teacher identity);
- Language, Literacy, and Multiliteracies Education (reading and writing, academic literacy, language pedagogy);
- Higher Education Studies (university teaching, student success, academic culture, governance in higher education);
- Inclusive and Special Needs Education (equity, accessibility, differentiated instruction, disability studies in education);
- Educational Leadership and Management (school leadership, organizational development, educational governance);
- Educational Policy and Sociology of Education (policy analysis, inequality, globalization, education reforms);
- Global Education and Comparative Education (cross-national studies, internationalization, educational mobility);
- Community Education and Lifelong Learning (adult education, non-formal education, community-based learning);

All submissions must be written in English for the initial editorial screening and will undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers.
Open Access Policy
This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
